What will my Senior Portrait session be like?
I strive to make sure your session is an enjoyable, fun experience. The more fun you are having, the more relaxed you will be and the better your portraits will be. The session consists of as many poses and clothing changes as you like to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Where will my session take place?
We can do your session at any outdoor location of your choice. When choosing a location, think about backgrounds, props and the over all setting. Areas with multiple features, such as benches, picnic tables and miscellaneous structures (buildings, trees, rocks etc.) typically make for great portrait locations. Weather is always a factor. If the conditions are not conducive to great portraiture we can reschedule for a better day.
What should I wear/bring?
You should wear clothes that represent you, and your unique personality. Typically, for casual portraits, blue jeans are universal and never go out of style. Dark or neutral colors also make for great portraits, though any solid colors work for outdoor photography. If possible, thin stripes or patterns should be avoided.
You may bring any items or props that help express who you are. If you wear glasses, look into bringing frames without lenses for the best results.
Girls, when applying makeup, you may want to apply slightly more than usual, but be sure to maintain a natural look.
Give haircuts at least a couple of days to even out before your session.
What options are available after the session?
Sessions include all of your images in color, in high resolution digital format. You retain the copyright to each picture and may reproduce them as you like. There are additional options that are available. I offer a proof package in which all of your portraits are displayed nicely in an album. You may also choose to have all of your pictures in color and in black and white. Black and white portraits add an element of artistry and make for great senior portraits.
